ITINERARY

DAY 1: HANOI - ARRIVAL

Xin Chao! A warm welcome to Hanoi on arrival. Your private driver and guide will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. Settle in and recover from your flight.

Distances and journey time: Noi Bai Airport to your chosen hotel in Hanoi (35km): 60mins.

DAY 2: HANOI - HALF DAY CITY TOUR B

Explore the charming city of Hanoi with a history of over one thousand years that celebrated in 2010, often referred to as the ‘Paris of the East’, with its yellow ochre colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards and scenic lakes. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, an important location in modern Vietnamese history and the final resting place of Ho Chi Minh, the country's forme leader (closed Mon and Fri and all afternoons), the One Pillar Pagoda, which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 - the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university built in the late 11th century. At the end of the trip, take a cyclo tour through the famed Old Quarter known for its ‘36 streets of 36 wares’ named after the original 36 artisan guilds that date as far back as the 13th century.

DAY 3: HANOI - HALONG B, L, D

In the morning, depart Hanoi for Halong Bay, a stunning UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its nearly 3,000 towering limestone islands scattered across the bay and the Gulf of Tonkin.

Arrive around noon and complete the check-in formalities. After a warm welcome on board and settling into your cabin, enjoy lunch as the cruise begins. In the afternoon, take part in visits or activities according to the boat’s scheduled itinerary. As the day ends, the boat will anchor for the night surrounded by karst formations.

Enjoy a sunset cocktail on deck followed by dinner, then retire for the evening.

Hanoi to Halong Bay (160 km): approximately 3 hours

DAY 4: HALONG - HANOI - DA NANG - HOI AN B

Wake up to the fresh morning amidst the islands of the bay for breakfast (brunch on some boats) while enjoying the serene setting of the spectacular rock formations.

Mid-morning, cruise back to the port. Disembark and transfer 2.5hours to Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport for the flight to Da Nang.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your local guide and then transferred to hotel in Hoi An for check-in.

DAY 5: HOI AN BAMBOO BASKET BOAT & TRA QUE VILLAGE EXPERIENCE - OLD TOWN WALKING TOUR B, L

This morning, visit Cam Thanh coconut village and paddle a bamboo basket boat through its forest, then head to Tra Que herb village for hands-on farming and cooking.

In the afternoon, explore the UNESCO town of Hoi An with your private guide on hand to offer their expert knowledge. As night falls, watch the town glow with thousands of lanterns, ending a day rich in culture and charm.

DAY 6: HOI AN FREE DAY B

Enjoy a full day at your leisure to discover the charming ancient town of Hoi An, unwind on the beautiful beach, or simply relax by the poolside.

DAY 7: HOI AN - DA NANG - SIEM REAP B, D

Depending on your flight time, you may have some free time at leisure before being met for your transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap.

Welcome to Cambodia.

Upon arrival in Siem Reap, your tour guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel for check-in and rest.

In the evening, enjoying a welcome dinner featuring Asian cuisine accompanied by an Apsara dance performance offers a wonderful introduction to traditional Khmer culture.

DAY 8: BANTEAY SREI TOUR WITH KOMPONG PLUK – TONLE SAP LAKE B

After breakfast, drive about 45 minutes to Banteay Srei, famed for its pink sandstone and exquisite carvings, often called the Jewel of Khmer Art. Continue to Banteay Samre, an impressive 12th-century temple built in the style of Angkor Wat.

On the return journey, stop at Preak Dak Village to sample local snacks prepared by village families.

Then visit Tonle Sap Lake and board a traditional boat to Kompong Pluk, a stilt-house community surrounded by a unique flooded forest. Explore the village and observe local life before returning to your hotel for an evening at leisure.

DAY 9: ANGKOR HIGHLIGHTS TOUR - SUNRISE B

Before dawn, your guide will pick you up and transfer you to the front of Angkor Wat to witness one of the world’s most iconic sunrises. A light picnic breakfast will be arranged in an authorized area near the temple. In the early morning hours, explore Angkor Wat as your guide brings its stories to life; the soft light and morning haze create a mystical atmosphere with fewer visitors.

Continue to Angkor Thom, stopping first at the South Gate for a photo opportunity. Inside Angkor Thom, visit major highlights including Ta Prohm, Bayon, Banteay Kdei, Baphuon, the Elephant Terrace, the Leper King Terrace, and the Royal Palace.

After the tour, return to your hotel to enjoy a leisurely late afternoon.

DAY 10: SIEM REAP - DEPARTURE B

Depending on your departure flight, you may have some free time at leisure, before being met for a transfer to the airport for your flight.
