ITINERARY

Campuchia   -  8 days 7 nights

DAY 1: SIEM REAP – ARRIVAL

Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel.

Please note standard check-in time is 14:00.

In the afternoon, you will start with first exploration by visiting one of the most ancient sites of the region: the Roluos Group. Ride your bike around the 9th-century temple and the surrounding countryside to have a glimpse of the city or walk a total distance of 3 kilometres from one temple to another and meet local friendly villagers on the way. Transfer back to Siem Reap town.

DAY 2: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR THOM B

Begin the day with Preah Khan temple built by King Jayavarman VII in 1191 to honor his father. Continue your exploration in Neak Pean - an artificial island temple, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda - the two beautiful temples standing out of various sculptured images honoring Shiva and Vishnu. In the afternoon, visit the Great City Angkor Thom which contains the remains of a large number of temples and Palaces of different ages and styles.

End of the trip, attend a performance of ‘Phare, the Cambodian Circus’. Starting at 7pm, professional artists of Phare Ponleu Selpak (PPS) will perform an inspiring show suitable for people of all ages. Set up in Battambang in 1994 by young returnee Cambodians from the refugee camps who learned to use art as a means of coping with trauma, PPS has played an influential role in promoting and developing Khmer culture over the years after the Khmer Rouge genocide. The hour-long show mixes traditional and modern theater, music, dance, acrobatics, juggling and contortion performed in stories about Cambodian lives and society.

DAY 3: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR WAT B

Rise early this morning to enjoy sun rising over the Angkor Wat Temple. Then explore the temple – the world heritage site and the most iconic temple of Cambodia. This awe-inspiring temple is a dream of every traveler, famed for both its grand scale and its incredible detail. Leave for the 10th-century pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei in the afternoon and the ancient Ta Prohm monastery on the way back to your hotel.

Overnight in Siem Reap

DAY 4: SIEM REAP – SIHANOUKVILLE ISLANDS B

Free morning to explore crowded Pub Street or Old Central Market of Siem Reap until transfer to the airport for your flight to Sihanoukville. Then transfer to the pier to take a shared speedboat to your selected hotel.

The rest of the day is free at leisure to enjoy swimming.

DAY 5: SIHANOUKVILLE ISLANDS B

Breakfast at hotel.

DAY 8 SIHANOUKVILLE ISLANDS – DEPARTURE B

After breakfast, take shared speedboat to the mainland pier.

Upon arrival, your vehicle will be waiting for you to begin the journey to Phnom Penh where you will arrive late afternoon. Or transfer to the airport of Sihanoukville from the pier and flight back to Siem Reap.

Note:  Sihanoukville – Phnom Penh (210km): 5hrs
