After a 2.5-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh, arrive in Cai Be, the heart of the Mekong Delta. Board a local boat to explore riverside villages and learn about the customs of riverine life. Visit workshops producing rice paper, coconut candy, and popped rice, then glide by rowing boat into narrow canals for a peaceful countryside experience. Continue to Tan Phong Island for a gentle bike ride through orchards and village paths, stopping to observe traditional crafts such as rice-net making, coconut-leaf weaving, and water-hyacinth products. Conclude with tea and traditional music in a local garden before transferring to your hotel.

Depart for a half-day city tour of Can Tho: visit Binh Thuy Ancient House, a beautifully preserved French–Vietnamese mansion. Continue to Munir Ansay Pagoda, a striking Khmer Buddhist temple known for its bright yellow façade and Angkor-inspired architecture. Built in 1948, the pagoda features intricate carvings, peaceful courtyards, and a serene main hall with Buddha statues. It also serves as a cultural hub for major Khmer festivals, making it a meaningful stop to explore Khmer heritage in the Mekong Delta.

After the tour, transfer to your hotel for check-in.

Overnight in Can Tho

Enjoy an early morning motorboat trip to the Cai Rang Floating Market, where dozens of boats laden with fruits, vegetables, and fish from across the Delta gather to trade. Notice the tall poles displaying sample products, allowing buyers to identify what each boat sells from a distance, as well as the many small boats offering meals and refreshments.

While exploring the market, enjoy a cup of local coffee and taste fresh seasonal fruit from the boat vendors. Afterward, your guide will take you on a short walk through a nearby morning market on shore to observe daily local life.

You will then be transferred to Can Tho Airport for your flight to Con Dao or Phu Quoc (No flights on Friday and Saturday).

For Con Dao, only domestic flights are available. You may fly to Ho Chi Minh City to connect with your international flight home or continue to Hanoi.
