Laos - 4days 3 nights
DAY 1: LUANG PRABANG – ARRIVAL D
Welcome to the spiritual capital of Laos! Meet your guide and transfer to your hotel.
Please note standard check-in time is 14:00.
In the evening, participate in a unique traditional Lao ceremony known as the Baci with the local community on the island. The Baci is performed in celebration of important events such as weddings, births, or for welcoming guests, and is a means of expressing goodwill and good luck to others.
Overnight in Luang Prabang
DAY 2: LUANG PRABANG – ALMS GIVING – CITY TOUR B
Wake up early in the morning to watch the Alms Giving ceremony. Visit the temples of Wat Visoun, Wat Aham, Wat That, Wat Xieng Thong.
In the afternoon, you will visit the National Museum, Wat Mai and Wat Sensoukarahm. Climb to the Phousi Mountain to enjoy panoramic views of Luang Phrabang. Visit the hill tribe evening market for some shopping on the way back to hotel.
Overnight in Luang Prabang
DAY 3: LUANG PRABANG – PAK OU CAVES – KUANG SI WATERFALLS B, L
You will be met at your hotel for a private transfer to the boat jetty.
Board the Mekong Nava, a traditional river boat, for a shared cruise on the mighty Mekong River to visit Pak Ou Caves and explore the village of Ban Xang Hai on the way. A lunch, typical Lao dishes will be served onboard.
In the afternoon, visit the Kuang Si waterfalls and the bear sanctuary. On the way back to Luang Prabang, stop to visit villages and if time permits, visit Ock Pop Tock, a local craft store and a non-profit organization seeks to preserve traditional weaving techniques, a trade which was once an important source of income for many Lao families but is slowly fading out as modern technology has evolved. A short tour introduces the process of silk weaving from the initial stages of creating the dyes to the final process of loom weaving.

After breakfast, free time at leisure until transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
